QUESTIONS = ANSWERS

Who is this training designed for?

Our training is designed for anyone working within or governing a community sector organisation in Australia. This includes board members, executive leaders, paid staff, coordinators, and volunteers. Whether you lead a small volunteer-run association or manage a larger not-for-profit, the content is practical, relevant, and immediately applicable to your role.

What topics does the training cover?

Each module focuses on a specific governance, risk, or compliance topic relevant to community sector organisations. Current topics include child safe organisations compliance, privacy and data obligations, conflicts of interest and understanding duty of care. New modules are added regularly to reflect changes in legislation and sector practice.

How is the training delivered and how long does it take?

Training is delivered entirely online through a self-paced learning platform, so you can complete modules at a time and pace that suits your schedule. Most modules take between 15-20 minutes to complete. There are no set start dates or live sessions required, giving you the flexibility to learn when it works for you.

Do I receive anything upon completing a module?

Yes. Upon successful completion of each module, you will receive a certificate of completion that you can retain for your professional development records or share with your board or management team. This can also support your organisation's evidence requirements under relevant quality or compliance frameworks.

Do I need prior knowledge or qualifications to participate?

No prior qualifications are required. The training is designed to build your knowledge from the ground up, regardless of your background.
